What is a pet cremation urn?

Our pet cremation urns are containers designed to hold the cremated ashes of your lost pet. All of our urns are crafted with care so that they can be displayed with dignity and pride.

 

What size pet urn should I purchase?

An urn is measured in Cubic inches. The industry standard is one pound of healthy body weight equals one cubic inch of cremains. We suggest that you contact your crematory for their recommendations and also purchase an urn that is larger than the industry standard. Some people prefer to spread some of the ashes which would allow for a smaller urn or a keepsake urn.

 

Can I personalize my pet urn?

Most of our pet urns are designed so that they can be personalized. The model that you choose will determine the extent of the personalization. Some models have room for a brass plate w with space for two or three descriptive lines, some models are designed for photo frames, others can have a portrait engraved and some have room for a full length poem.

 

How do I put my pet's ashes into the urn?

In most cases your veterinarian will provide you with a simple container with a sealed plastic bag containing your pets ashes inside. Simply put the plastic bag into the urn. If the cremains are not in a plastic baag, your can use any zipper lock style plastic bag.

 

Can my urn be shipped to my veterinarian or my cremation facility?

We will be happy to ship your urn to an address other than your own. You will have this option available during the checkout process.

What is your return policy?

The customer must contact us by email or phone within 48 hours of receipt of product for a return or exchange

    -   All products to be returned must have been purchased at CreativePetUrns.com.
    -   Returned product must be in resalable condition and returned in original container or better.
    -   Customer is responsible for return shipping costs and must be insured for original cost.
    -   Products returned that are free of defects are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
    -   Include your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and invoice number so that we can process your return
        quickly and accurately.
    -   Your credit card will be credited for returns and exchanges of damaged items.
    -   If the packaging looks damaged on the outside, either refuse to accept it or make note on the shipping paperwork
        that it was received damaged, then contact us immediately for further instructions (see contact page).
    -   Any product shipped in error by CreativePetUrns.com will receive a full refund.
    -   Any personalized engraved products cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect.
