Meet Cinnamon and Mocha

Meet Cinnamon and Mocha

Cinnamon was a 13 year old Yellow Lab and Mocha was a 17 year old Siamese/Mynx cross. Cinnamon was as laid back and loving as a dog could be. She loved to go jogging with me, lay in front of the fireplace and go for walks with the family around the neighborhood. Quite often when we went for walks, Mocha could be seen bringing up the rear and would follow us all the way back home. In his prime, Mocha weighed in at 22 pounds. He was known as the "peace keeper" of the neighborhood, if a "bully cat" tried to cause trouble with one of the local feline's, Mocha would step in and "persuade" the troublemaker to go home. We came home one evening to find Mocha chasing a fox out of the yard. They both will be remembered forever with loving memories. Steve and Linda, New Hampshire
Meet Kozmo

Meet Kozmo

"Kozmo is my 12 year old shih-tzu baby that was born on July 16, 1999. When my husband brought him home to me as a surprise, Kozmo got sick on his lap from the car ride. He was such a good dog and loved to please. My husband taught him to roll over and speak in less than 30 minutes. Kozmo had SARDS and went completely blind approximately 3 years ago. We camped alot and Kozmo's last hoorah was right before he went blind. He escaped from the tent sometime in the night. I can only imagine what he did loose all night long but when he came back home the next morning, he was dirty with a very full belly and seemed very happy! LOL Kozmo and I had a very special day at the park with my son before he went to heaven on July 21, 2011. He enjoyed his burger, fries and even a Sprite from Burger King. I can't believe how much I miss him however it brings me joy to know that now he can see again!"
Meet AJ

Meet AJ

AJ was born on March 21, 1995 and came into our hearts & home when he was 8 weeks old. On July 13, 2010 we had to say goodbye to our best friend of 15 years. AJ was the most humble and sweetest companion anyone could ever ask for and was a once-in-a lifetime friend. We miss you so much, but we know you are no longer in pain, may you rest at God’s feet until we meet again our sweet buddy. We love you, Mark, Debra, Andrew & Alex Douglas, Ga.
Meet Mosley

Meet Mosley

Mosley was there for our family as a special little companion/family member for 13 1/2 years. Even when movement was difficult for him, his tail was always wagging and he was always so happy to see us. No matter what kind of day we had, he ALWAYS made us smile. That special little dog has left a huge hole in all of our hearts and still brings many tears along with many happy memories. Kathy in Nebraska.
Meet Chelsea Marie, Service Dog.

Meet Chelsea Marie, Service Dog.

Thank you so much for working things out with me. You don't know how much that meant to me. Chelsea's favorite thing to eat was Ham. Towards the end when it was hard for her to get up, just one whiff of ham, and she would be right up next to the fridge. Once again thank you, and GOD bless David in Oregon.
Meet Jake, a service dog

Meet Jake, a service dog

Jake was born on April fools day in 1997. Jake had his name picked out before he was even born. I received Jake from a friend. Jake's father was a pure bred German Shepard and his mother was German Shepard and wolf. Since I am in a wheelchair Jake was sent away when he was a year and a half to be trained to help me. Most dogs that are trained take around a year to be trained but Jake surprised all of us when he was trained in three months. He always wanted to learn and he would never hurt a living thing. Our garbage man saw that one day when Jake picked up baby mice and moved them from harms way from the garbage guy crushing the mice in the truck. When Jake and I would walk through the malls it would always warm your heart to see all the smiles that came to people's faces when they saw Jake. Jake will always have a special place in my heart. He was the best service dog I have ever seen but he was the best friend a person could ever ask for. On December 10, 2009 we lost a part of our family. We will miss you very much Jake, Love, Kenny & Paulie in Iowa
Meet Galaxy

Meet Galaxy

Our dog, Galaxy, was 17 years old when my son and I had to put him down, three days after our family reunion – all my children and their families got to see him one more time. In Galaxy’s honor I painted a 20 x 20 inch canvas – portrait of him to hang with a huge multi-painting (as the individual paintings form the Mona Lisa) in the Eastwood Mall hallway, Niles, Ohio. I mixed some of Galaxy’s ashes and fur into the paint so that he will live on, if only in this painting of him. Cindy in Ohio
Meet Hera

Meet Hera

Steve, Thank you. It was very hard to loose Hera so early. She was not of my breeding but was very special in our hearts. My daughter made a very sweet photo array to music for her that can be viewed here: http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s93/dogshowprogirl/?action=view¤t=f890c117.pbr (Copy and Paste into your browser). Hera was a wonderful therapy dog who enjoyed her job, she made thousands of people forget they were ill and confined... The engraving is perfect. Nancy in Texas
Meet Pebbles

Meet Pebbles

This is Pebbles, she is a very loving and lovable little girl. When my husband had hip replacement surgery she was not a year old yet, but she never left him alone. In the mornings we would find her asleep on his chest, we starting calling her Nurse Pebbles. She loved riding in her Dad's truck and "let's go for coffee" meant a ride to Dunkin Donuts to watch all the people come and go. She is greatly missed by my husband and I and our other dog Ryder, she gave us alot of laughs, joy and comfort in the short time we had with her with us. Barbara in Connecticut.
Meet Lady.

Meet Lady.

Lady was a half Chow Chow, half Cocker Spaniel. She was a proud, head strong, wild little girl. She ran away from her first home, was picked up by the dog catcher and was on death row when I adopted her. I got a high spirited little person in Lady. She became the top dog in the family and guarded the home from every intrusion, from squirrels and rabbits to mail carriers. She loved to help cut grass by walking in front of the lawn mower and she loved her daily walks, treating each beginning of a walk as if it were Christmas morning. She was the Queen of our home and a loved little person and she knew it.. Lady lived 17 years and was with us for more than 16 years. She is deeply missed. Lawrence in Kansas
Meet Gleni and Oggie.

Meet Gleni and Oggie.

Gleni, our Cairn Terrier (born 29 May 1993) was discovered in a pet store in Ventura, CA, and captured our love immediately. A sweet companion, she filled our home and our hearts for 5 years before we chose from a breeder's litter, Oggie, our West Highland White Terrier (born 20 June 1998) . During the ensuing 11 years they were our best friends and constant companions. In early May of 2009, Gleni was diagnosed with a tumor in her chest, not really treatable at her age (nearly 16 at the time). We set out to give her the best life we could for as long as we could. During this period, Oggie suddenly became very ill and despite heroic efforts to save him, died 3 August 2009 of acute renal failure. Gleni passed away about four months after the initial diagnosis on 24 August 2009. We will never stop loving these two and missing their sweet presence in our lives. Kay in California.

Meet Sig

Meet Sig

Tomorrow would have been Sig's first birthday. He died of heart failure. He had a serious heart murmur. The funny thing is that I had an artificial valve put in my heart for the same problem 25 March last year. It was about the same time Sig was born. When I found out he was ill the doctor said he wouldn't live long, but he lived a healthy normal life up to when he died. There was no sign of any problem. He was fully trained to hunt and died retrieving a pheasant. I miss him every day. Sheldon, in New York
Meet Pudgie

Meet Pudgie

My children and I raised Pudgie from a pup and she was a member of our family for over 16 years. She was so very loved by us all...Family, friends and hair clients. She was brought up for most of her life within my hair salon. She always greeted everyone with a loving nudge and the wag of a tail. On occasion, she would even say "hello" which sounded like "hellwhoa" :). She's very much missed but her memory will always put a smile on our faces. Thank you for your kind compassion and for making this time a little easier for me! Cynthia in Virginia.

Meet Peanuts

Peanuts was a Momma's boy and loved kisses on the neck. He enjoyed playing with his doggie friends and snuggling on the couch. He was quite spoiled but he deserved every good thing that came his way! I am going to miss him tremendously! :( Jennifer in New York.
